My training and interests have allowed me to develop my career both as a classical singer and a scholar. As a singer, I am passionate about singing late Romantic repertoire and also enjoy working with composers on contemporary pieces.

My research interests span from the relationship between music and poetry to expressivity in performance. I am also a professional writer and translator (English/Chinese) of concert program notes.

As an academic editor, I have extensive experience in editing doctoral dissertations and master's theses as well as shorter research projects. I provide proofreading, content editing, and citation formatting services.
